The biggest selling multi-meter to our electrician clients, the APPA 61 is a robust, reliable, yet modestly-priced choice.  Easily able to handle a 4 1.2m drop test, the APPA 60 series meters all share the common features of compact design, very nice rubberised non-slip panels on the side of the case, tilt stand, nail hook, and very tidy on-board lead storage.  Another very important reason for their popularity is the all the 61 series meters have an appealing non-contact voltage warning feature and are able to warn the user of voltage simply by placing the meter near a live conductor or outlet.
