Telecommunications Test Equipment
Megger BITE 3

The Megger BITE3 Battery Impedance Test Equipment determines the health of lead-acid cells up to 2000 Ah by taking measurements of the most important battery parameters. The BITE3 measures cell impedance, an internal Ohmic test, cell voltage, intercell connection resistance and ripple current. And, for the first time in a battery instrument, the BITE3 measures float current and the harmonic content of the ripple current. There is even a built-in spectrum analyzer to show the harmonic content of the ripple current. It has firmware that can be upgraded.
Megger BITE 2

The BITE2 Battery Impedance Test Equipment determines the condition of lead-acid and nickel-cadmium cells up to 7000 Ah. An advanced feature set has been developed that includes Pass/Warning/Fail calculations based on a user-entered baseline value, advanced printing functions and more. The case of the BITE2P consists of both the transmitter and a carrying case for all of the standard accessories and some of the optional accessories, in an all-in-one unit. The BITE2 and its accessories fit into a sturdy canvas case with a shoulder strap.
Megger BITE 2P

The BITE2P Battery Impedance Test Equipment determines the condition of lead-acid and nickel-cadmium cells up to 7000 Ah then provides a printed record of the statistical deviations of the results from the average impedance. A Spectrum analyzer provides loss readings up through the VDSL range test protocols
The HT1000/2 has user selectable auto tests with an incremental pair testing process. Test for DC and AC volts at the same time, no need to switch between separate screens.
Download updates and upload test results quickly and easily via the integrated USB port.
Megger TDR1000/3 Hand-Held TDR unit for Telecommunications work

The TDR1000/3 is a hand held, compact Time Domain Reflectometer for locating faults on metallic cables. It has a minimum resolution of 0.1 m/0.3 ft and a 5 km/15 kft maximum range depending on velocity factor selected and cable type.
Four output impedances are available (25, 50, 75, and 100 Ω) and a velocity factor between 0.2 and 0.99 will meet any cable test requirements.
The TDR1000 has a simple selection option which together with a 4 way control switch offers an intuitive operation for the user.

ProActiv Battery Database Management Software

The first of its kind, ProActiv is a powerful, easy to use battery database management software designed to analyze each individual battery in a battery system.
Battery testing is crucial to ensure a battery system provides standby and emergency power to operate devices such as emergency lighting, UPSs, operating controls, switchgear components, protective relays and continuous process systems. Failure of a battery system within environments such as utilities, hospitals or manufacturing plants can result in operational failure of the devices connected to it. ProActiv assists the user to avoid battery failures, budget for future battery string and cell replacements, and plan battery changeouts in an orderly manner.
ProActiv utilizes a standard MS Access database format. It allows the user to organize and manage battery data such as voltages, impedance, intercell connection resistance, ripple current, specific gravity, IR thermographs and more.
Megger DLRO10HD
Megger DLRO10X

The DLRO 10X sets the standards for low resistance measurement. The DLRO 10X is a fully automatic instrument, selecting the most suitable test current up to 10A d.c. to measure resistance from 0.1uOhm to 2000uOhm on one of seven ranges. For users who desire more control over the measurement process, DLRO 10X uses a menu system controlled by a two-axis paddle to allow the user to manually select the maximum test current. DLRO 10X also adds real time download of results and on board storage for later download to a PC.
The device is built into a strong, lightweight case that is equally at home in the field or in the laboratory. Light enough to be worn around the neck, they are small enough to be taken into areas that were previously too small to access. The DLRO 10X has a large, backlit LCD display. Normally, measurements are made with forward and reverse currents to cancel the effects of any standing voltages across the test sample. The average value is then displayed within 3 seconds, to a basic accuracy of 0.2%. DLRO 10X displays both forward and reverse measurements as well as the average of the two. DLRO 10X allows the user to set high and low pass limits, thereby enabling simple go-no-go testing. At the end of a test DLRO10X will store the test results, as well as any notes relevant to the test.
