The A4950 stroboscope uses three ultrabright LEDs with optical system as a source of fl ashes. The device is equipped with a colour graphic display and 3 operational buttons. Operation is very easy and intuitive. Two standard or rechargeable AA batteries are used for powering. The A4950 stroboscope can be used also as a tachometer by connecting an external speed probe.
Stroboscope is used for visual inspection of rotating parts while running. Point the stroboscope on inspected rotating object and set the same flashing speed as the real speed of the object is. The object will visually stop. This way you can find loosen bolts on couplings, fragments on fan blades and so on.
Stroboscope can be used as a trigger of your measurement instead of laser speed probe.
Useful for example during balancing if you are not able to place the reflection tape on the shaft, due to greasy environment or whatever reason.
A4950 can be used also a speed probe. Just connect the laser speed probe pointing on reflection tape and read the speed directly on the A4950.
