The diagnostic connection set is a kit that can be used for diagnostic measurements such as off-line partial discharge (PD) measurements or tan delta measurements. With help from this set, you can make a PD-free or low connection to the test object, thereby eliminating any effect that the connection might have on the test object and ensuring the measurement results will not be influenced by the connection. This simplifies the evaluation of the PD measurements and minimises faulty readings with tan delta measurements caused by corona.
All the adapters enable the calibration equipment to be connected directly to the adapter used. Moreover, the kit can also be used for other applications or equipment, such as for connecting VLF systems.
